Rodney Fugate is a life long learner and currently has a Bachelors degree in business from Tusculum College, an Associates degree from Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown Maryland, and a diploma from United States Army Signal School. A twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps, he served in duty assignments throughout the East Coast of the United States, Europe and Eastern Asia.

     In addition to his successful military career, Rodney is an advisor to the Claiborne County Soil Conservation Board of Supervisors. He is a Past President of Regional Educational and Environmental Program (REEP) M.E.H.P of Roger E. Brooks’s chapter # 44, J.W. and Study Club President of Carlease Jones Chapter # 41 Mannheim Germany. 

      Rodney and his wife Cynthia M. Fugate are the owners and operators of Fugate’s Beef and Goat Farm were they are currently raising commercial meat goats and Bermuda hay. They  have two sons - Nicholas, the eldest, who is a senior at Tusculum College in Greenville TN and Brandon, who is in the eighth grade at Soldier Memorial Middle School in Tazewell TN.
